BREAKING NEWS - Tamil Tiger rebels give ultimatum

Sunday, November 27, 2005
BREAKING NEWS FROM SRI LANKA Tiger leader Velupillai Prabhakaran said the Tamil people had "lost patience [and] hope". "This is our final appeal," he said, threatening to "intensify the [rebel] struggle for self government" in 2006 if no plan was advanced. "In terms of policy, the distance between him [Mr Rajapakse] and us is vast," Mr Prabhakaran said in an annual speech to mark the rebels' war dead. Mr Prabhakaran said the rebels had decided to resume a "liberation struggle" last year and were "charting our action plan" when the tsunami struck the island and killed thousands of people along the eastern coast. "In these circumstances, our liberation movement was geared to confront the crisis," he said. Mr Rajapakse has said the country needed a new peace process that would not tolerate "terrorism" - but added that he was ready for talks. He has also dismissed a long-standing Tigers' demand for the recognition of their homeland in the northern part of the island. (BBC World News, 2005) LINK Tamil Tiger rebels give ultimatum

The NEW XSYKO Blog Logo Launches

Wednesday, November 02, 2005
ANNOUNCEMENT / ACKNOWLEDGEMENT The XSYKO Blog gets a new look with the all new banner/logo. Lets have a look at the changes in the logos brought about over the time The XSYKO Blog has been online: Earlier this year we saw the simple and basic XSYKO Blog Banner featuring the KL Towers on the right side. The KL towers because the XSYKO Blog operates and is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia since its launch. However, after many months of it been online, and without anyone ever noticing it until the creator did so - which was that what was actually supposed to be XSYKO Blog was incorrectly spelt "XYSKO Blog". This was immediately dealt with by creating a temporary banner. The Temporary banner/logo for The XSYKO Blog corrected the error, but like I mentioned earlier this was a temporary banner. The banner was almost the same as the first banner with a different font, and additional text which describes the sites features. Within few weeks of the upload of the temporary banner, the new, all improved XSYKO Blog banner/logo was ready. The new logo/banner has a more "news-ish" look, a more proffesional, and smart look. It sends out a vibe of the serious-ness of the site meanwhile expressing what the site is about. The XSYKO Blog NEW Logo is launched on the everning of 2nd November 2005 (Wednesday) also made and designed by the creator of the previous banner/logo. With the brief look back at the changes in the logos, I would like to extend my greatest thanks to my cousin brother Nouhad, who made these changes possible. He is the master mind behind the logo designs and creation. Without him, the XSYKO Blog logo would definitely not look this good! Thank you very much. Nouhad is 15 years old and comes from the Islands of the Maldives although he is currently based in Sri Lanka. He loves gaming, internet and movies. He's a little freak at gaming I tell you. I think he has the best consoles and games and best PC games any one can get their hands on. Doesnt stop there. He also does coding for internet stuff and is a movie buff. The software he used to create the logos and th one thats his favorite - Adobe PhotoShop CS2. He has a site that runs on coolness which is called Nouhad's Blog. Check it out! Once again I would like to thank Nouhad and for the people who visit this site and give their support for all success it has achieved so far. Keith for The XSYKO Blog
